Q: What is whey?
A: Whey is the liquid separated from the curds when making cheese in our creamery. It is a rich source of protein, vitamins, minerals, and sugars.

“Little Miss Muffet
Sat on a tuffet
Eating her curds and whey . . .”
When our little piggies wake up in the morning (the little fellers like to sleep in!) they come out of their warm hutch to enjoy the fresh air and sunshine. They start their day with a breakfast of whey and non-medicated hog feed, then enjoy the bounty of their grassy pasture where they graze, root, and grunt contentedly.
HOG HEAVEN!
The pasture benefits from having the soil turned and naturally fertilized (and rocks graciously removed!) before we rotate the pigs to the next site. Its all part of the sustainable approach Wild Harvest brings to farming.
The best pork you can buy!
America today has largely forgotten the taste of natural wholesome food.
Whey-fed pork is tender, juicy, flavorful and nutritious. We think you will agree that our pork is unsurpassed in quality.
